The four part, biweekly Lunch & Learn series on Human Rights and Diversity in the Workplace kicked off with a bang on February 23rd. Karen. Dr. Karen Mock, outstanding lecturer, expert in human rights and women’s issues and the Federal Liberal candidate in Thornhill.
The response to the first lunch of the series was excellent, with a diverse group of women learning new things and participating in wonderful conversation. Congratulations to the Power of Women Exchange for such a successful engagement.

I arrived late to the debate between Imam Shehryar Shaikh & Tarek Fatah, expecting to walk in to the second third of a very interesting debate. I was disappointed that Mr. Fatah was not present and that the debate was turned into a monologue. I was not the only one. As I exited, I chatted with several people who had hoped for more.
