From the Family Tree to the Family Forest
I suspect my reason for starting a family genealogy project is not dissimilar from many others, the birth of a child. When my first daughter was born, I thought it might be important to have this information collected. I had always been able to ask my grandparents and parents. But the grandparents were getting older in 1992 and nobody else knew everything. So I bought a tree program and started collecting.
