I am at the garage for some work this morning. The owner, a Thornhill resident and I were chatting about the election. He told me that he was so incensed about the Liberals forcing an election that he and his wife voted Conservative, rather than Liberal, for the first time.
He indicated he will likely be voting Liberal next time. Still, I wonder how the Party sages missed this anger.
Or did they?
it is an interesting question for both public and private individuals. What is your level of responsibility for things said many years ago. What is the statute of limitations for contrition?
In this case, Peter Kent reported in a way that is at best unbalanced and at worst anti-Israel. So I have to ask, was Peter Kent reading a script he did not believe in 1987 or is he reading one now as a candidate in Thornhill.
I know where Karen Mock stands on the issues.

The four part, biweekly Lunch & Learn series on Human Rights and Diversity in the Workplace kicked off with a bang on February 23rd. Karen. Dr. Karen Mock, outstanding lecturer, expert in human rights and women’s issues and the Federal Liberal candidate in Thornhill.
The response to the first lunch of the series was excellent, with a diverse group of women learning new things and participating in wonderful conversation. Congratulations to the Power of Women Exchange for such a successful engagement.
